From time to time, the Antarctic Treaty Consultative Meeting decides that a topic or issue needs more in-depth discussion than can be accomplished during the regular meeting.  ASOC attends these Antarctic Treaty Meetings of Experts (ATMEs) when invited and presents papers.  These papers and other information about ATMEs are available below.

This ATME focused on the implications of climate change for Antarctic management and governance.  ASOC presented four papers, which were well-received and were incorporated in part into the recommendations from the meeting.
